i reckon cleaning the house or dishes or whatever in your under wear is a friking awesome idea..i was trying to imagine me and my boyfriend doing that haha. and not all girls want to ‘do it’…thats not the way your going to get a decent girl if you think like that. mud fights would be pretty funny. you can turn the most boring things into something fun and easy to do. me and my boyfriend usually just watch movies at his house…and he never picks what to do…im always the one that decides what we do. so lately i have no idea what to do. anyone wanna help me out here hahaha

I actually think that (depending on the girl) a lot of girls really do dig the outside-the-box type of dates. Dinner and a movie is played out and chances are, the girl you’re taking out has been out to a hundred dinner-and-movie dates before. It’s convenient, but not the best date idea ever.

These ideas are good, but the mud-fight and library things would be much more memorable if you stumbled into it rather than planned it.

what sort of ideas are you looking for??
i think they’re sweet, you just need to know someone well enough that they dont think you’re n]nuts when you take them into a library or dive into a pit of mud (which im sure most guys would LOVE…)
lol at anoyone who took three minutes to read this
i think if you’re just looking for some fun to release from the mundane boring stuff people normally do.
washing up and cleaning is wuite fun to do together, put some music on LOUDLY, then clean in your underwear.
plus, whats better than getting your man to clean. its ace

wow..Okay well some of these are cute, and no..girls don’t just want to “Do it”. When my boyfriend does things that are creative like those ideas it seems like he really cares. These ideas are for couples who have been together for a long time and are just looking for fun dates!

I think the ideas are good. For sure. Reading childrens books to a girl, make facial expressions and stuff next thing you know she is laughing at you, what girl doesnt like to laugh, and what guy doesnt like to make the girl laugh a bunch and smile. great ideas.

Unfortunately for “some jerk” any girl worth being with does not want to “do it” all the time. But most people are too impatient to realize this and take it out on their girlfriends. I thought these ideas were cute. Except the mud fight,that’s just weird. And for the record I’ve been catching fireflies for years AND I’m now happily married to the guy who caught them with me. Sex boy up there probably doesn’t even have a steady girlfriend. A real date is one where you have fun and don’t get screwed.

Are you guys really serious? have none of you ever been on dates? Nobody does any of this CRAP. Who the hell catches fireflies on a warm summer evening? That’s the gayest! Sounds like you have been reading too many romance novels with Fabio on the cover. This isn’t a Mandy Moore movie, get real. take your girl out on the town for drinks and a dance or a play or a concert and then DO IT TO HER! that’s a real date. Thats what she wants. Trust me.

Hey, at least someone is coming up with ideas. Don’t hate if you can’t even think of any because obviously you’re on this website for a reason.
All those things can be cute. Not for a first date, but for a couple that’s in a serious relationship and just want to spend time together it sounds like fun to me! =)

Some other free date ideas:

Going to visit random stores.
Playing music together.
A walk in the park.
Hiking and a homemade lunch.
Going for a drive.
Visiting a random town on the map you’ve never been to or heard of.
Window Shop.
Lay under the night sky and look at the stars.
Cooking together.
Volunteering at an animal shelter or soup kitchen.
Paint/Draw/Sculpt…have a paint fight!
Kiss in the rain. (REALLY fun! Saying that from experience.)
Trying on funny clothes in a random store.
Catching fireflies on a warm summer evening…

The possibilities are endless when you love someone.

Ok, well, my boyfriend and I have actually hung out in the university library a couple of times, at the campus bookstore, and at Barnes and Nobles once. But NOT in the children’s section!! And I have 2 little kids.

What in the world? Who ever made these up must be single, because if I took my husband to the childrens books at the library we would FREAK out and think I was pregnant. And for people who are not married the guy would be thinking “Whoa she want’s kids right away” And the girl would be thinking “What kind of a creep would take me to the childrens section of the library?”
