Cemeteries are great and beautiful in their own way, and god forbid you try something different than the generic dinner and a movie. My city has several great ones that are fun to walk through day or night with very elaborate stones and great old gnarly oak trees. I can’t believe so many people can’t get past the fact that there happen to be bodies buried there. Big deal. I have a favorite one that’s high on a hilltop and perfect for watching the sun come up.

Yea the cemetary is dead quite and rest-in-peaceful. Not my idea of a good time. The beach is always fun and romantic at night or evening time if there is access to one.

Go on a midnight picnic! My boyfriend and I love to do this. We usually bring junk food, drinks, a blanket, and whatever else we want. It’s best to go during the summer months. Last week we had one and I brought strawberries, whipped cream, and a piece of paper and a pen. We ate while making a list of everything we wanted to do together during our summer vacation and we’re going to cross each thing off of our list as we do it! Afterwards, we just layed on the blanket together and checked out the stars while talking.

Sorry, but the “CEMETERY” nah Sayers are off base. First off, the cemetery is quiet and peaceful, the old ones are often filled with unique head stones often with request or saying from the deceased. It’s a great place to walk and get to know your date, hold hands and build a little unique bonding in a sometimes emotional setting. Find a tomb stone with your dates family name, your name,seriously, the art can be breathtaking. Especially in New Orleans or LA. The point isn’t macabe, the point is you can focus on your date without throngs of people, waiters. Don’t be shallow, be creative, whoever suggested this was right, it is a unique first date!

A really fun/effective date I’ve been on is sort of a spin of that last one. Cook together! Make sure you act like you don’t know what you’re doing (shouldn’t be too hard) and have her help you. Unless of course YOU need to help her. Also this allows for a lot of attraction to be built through conversation and physical contact. Just do it!
